Golf Course Policies

General Policies

  1. The golf course is open to authorized golf course customers only. All golfers must register in the golf shop and pay applicable green fees prior to accessing the course. Failure to do so may result in a fine under Middleton Ordinance 16.04(1)(p).
  2. The parking lot is for authorized golf course customers only. Gate accessibility depends on operating hours, which may vary due to weather, daylight, and other conditions.
  3. Pedestrian activity of any kind is prohibited on the golf course year-round. This includes, but is not limited to, walking, running, and biking. During the winter months, cross-country skiing is permitted on designated trails only, when officially open as determined by Pleasant View Golf Course staff.
  4. Pleasant View Golf Course does not have a siren system for inclement weather. Golfers are responsible for monitoring conditions and deciding whether to continue play. If you feel threatened by weather, please leave the course immediately.
  5. With the exception of service dogs, no unauthorized dogs or pets are allowed on the golf course grounds. This includes all courses, clubhouse, putting green, driving range, and patio.
  6. For those using the adjacent bike trails, please remain on the trails at all times. Bikes are not permitted near the clubhouse; bike racks are provided for your convenience. Bike trail parking is available at 4351 Schwartz Rd, Middleton, WI 53562. Parking for trail users is not permitted at Pleasant View Golf Course.

Golf Policies

  1. Maintain proper pace of play by keeping up with the group ahead. A round should not exceed 2 hours and 15 minutes per 9 holes (approximately 15 minutes per hole).
  2. Replace all divots, repair ball marks, and rake bunkers at all times during your round.
  3. For safety, always yell “Fore!” if your shot may endanger others.
  4. If ordering food after 9 holes, please pick up your order promptly and proceed to the 10th tee to avoid delaying groups behind you.
  5. We do not have a siren system for inclement weather. Golfers are responsible for monitoring conditions and leaving the course if threatening weather approaches.
  6. Use caution on the course: do not swing clubs near others, yell “Fore!” on errant shots, and drive golf cars carefully.
  7. Per Wisconsin state law, carry-on alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
  8. Proper golf attire is required. T-shirts, shorts, and denim are acceptable. Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times. Golf shoes are recommended, but tennis or gym shoes are acceptable. Shoes with non-golf spikes, heels, or any bottoms that could damage turf are not permitted.
